What You'll Do

Cisco seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the Collaboration Group, requirements include a strong background in executive-level communication, building customer and partner relationships, account planning and segmentation. This role involves positioning and promoting the partner and customer value proposition for Cisco's Collaboration Group, leading Product Sales Specialist in the development and expansion of opportunities, and reinforcing existing relationships. The ideal candidate possesses strategic business and technical knowledge, and can succeed as a leader and mentor in a demanding and rewarding sales environment. This is a good opportunity to apply your sales leadership experience working with great sales teams and solutions in Collaboration.

Will be responsible for an annual booking/revenue quota of $100+M with significant growth in subsequent years. Develop and execute sales strategy and tactics that maximize Cisco opportunity within the customer environment. Along with sales planning, this position is responsible for accurate forecasting.

Who You'll Work With:

Direct customer contact will comprise a major portion of this assignment. Must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process. Must be able to lead a geographically dispersed team, with both direct and indirect reports. Will need to make important resource decisions that apply both corporate and account team resources to new opportunities. Will work closely with various Business Unit leadership. Will be responsible for motivating and developing the Product Sales Specialists.

Who You Are
-A BA degree - MBA or graduate degree preferred.

-Sales management of a technical sales organization that includes account managers or systems engineers. 

-5+ years of sales experience. Specific examples of closing large, strategic deals. 

-Knowledge of America's and Global market trends. 

-Strong leadership skills in a cross-functional teaming environment. 

-Selling solutions to large customers. 

-Managing a diverse technical and sales team experience. 

-Developing customer relationships. 

-Understanding a broad range of Cisco technologies required.
