Job Description
Own and drive Quality Assurance with emphasis to Automotive requirements ISO/IATF16949 through activities such as audits, PPAP readiness, FMEA and Control Plan Review. Provide Quality Engineering support and collaborate with various functional groups in - Problem investigation and resolution by guiding root cause analysis and corrective action development. This includes Material Disposition Process, Corrective Actions Preventive Actions and Product/ Process Changes -Working with engineering teams to assure quality considerations are adequately covered in design, testing, release of product and process.Identify and drive for Continuous Improvement Projects CIP and promotes Total Quality Management TQM initiatives.Develop, modify, strengthen and maintain quality standards for processes and QMS procedures in all aspects related to manufacturing of product.Plan and establish audits schedules and perform audit at manufacturing/supplier sites which may include coordinating customer audit. Generate quality metrics on supplier performance and establish measures to monitor and report quality performance. This includes analyzing and reviewing the data to determine sampling plan.May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to quality control. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
