<b>What You'll Do</b>

 

Role & Responsibilities: Product Quality Management

 

  • Customer quality management for Japan partners/customers
  • Root cause analysis of Quality Incident and address prevent actions and corrective actions to Mfg Sites.
  • Quality data reporting to Stakeholders
  • Team Representative to implement and modify Quality Management Tools
  • Vendor operation management of Narita Quality Center:

            * Manage Inbound Inspection Lead Time and Accuracy
            * Manage Reproduction Verification Lead Time and Accuracy

  • Supervise to build up new Function Test Unit in Narita Quality Center
  • Setting Function Test for debagging Cisco Products (Router and Switch, Collaboration, and Data Center)

<b>Who You'll Work With</b>

Cisco Supply Chain Operations (SCO) consists of the following functional organizations. Global Manufacturing Operations, Technology and Quality, Global Supplier Management, Global Planning and Fulfillment, and Supply Chain Transformation.

Global Manufacturing Operations is responsible for global manufacturing management and execution, including PCBA and finished good assembly, material planning, logistics, manufacturing technology and quality, and contract manufacturer relationship management. Organizationally, GMO consists of central teams across Manufacturing Operations, Partner Management, and Logistics, as well as regional operations teams across APJC, EMEAR, and Americas.

 The APJC GMO is responsible for managing the manufacturing and logistics execution of both PCBA and finished goods at numerous outsourced manufacturing sites across multiple countries in APJC. In addition, APJC GMO is responsible for quality, attainment, build management, and delivery experience for our customers. APJC GMO is organized both sub-regionally, across Southeast Asia and China, as well as functionally across PCBA Manufacturing and Finished Good Manufacturing and Logistics.    

 

<b>Who You Are</b>

Prerequisites:

      •7 years or more work experience in quality management at manufacturing

      •Quality data analysis

      •Required Cisco Technology Knowledge of Network (IOS)

      •Preferred Cisco Technology Knowledge of Collaboration and Data Center

      •Communication skill and Business Negotiation Skills

      •As a key driver, lead and manage projects in collaboration with international Cisco teams and manufacturing partners

 

Preferable background:

      •Work experience in IT Company/Industry over 5 years

      •Work experience in manufacturing technology, manufacturing process design and management of product lines

      •Work experience in factory operation management at electronics manufacturer or IT company

      •Work experience in vendor operation management.

 

Other skills:

      •Business level English Communication skills in addition to Native Level Japanese Communication skills in both Verbal and writing

      •Good and open communication skill among Cisco supply chain, manufacturing partners, Japan sales and technical services, and customer and partners.

      •Problem solving skill backed by knowledge of quality control and manufacturing technology using analytical approach

      •Customer management skill

      •Be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision and understand organizational goals

      •Experience in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies advantageous

      •Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint and Oracle system knowledge desired
