What You'll Do

  • Manages customer facing projects
  • Creation of a project WBS, schedule and plan with financial, resource and material requirements
  • Creation of high performing project team (resource selection, induction and team building)
  • Leadership of Project Team members including project engineers, vendors, partners and subcontractors
  • Owns the project from start to completion including the resolution
  • Manages scope of project by application of Project Change Management
  • Dedicated management of project issues and risks
  • Management of key external and internal partners
  • Accountable for the Project Budget (Cost/margin performance)
  • Management of Revenue recognition in line with committed dates
  • Management of agreed project schedule to ensure all key landmarks, revenue recognition and project completion dates are achieved
  • Responsible for the quality and customer acceptance of all project deliverables
  • Management of customer Project Manager and partners to ensure project objectives are achieved
  • Management of and compliance with H&S legislation and customer/project specific requirements
  • Maintains customer happiness score of 4.5 or higher
  • Management of the handover to the support environment (Customer and Cisco) and knowledge transfer process
  • Compliance with all Regulatory, Cisco and Advances Services Policies, processes and business rules
  • Application of industry and Cisco Project Management standard methodologies
  • Collection and creation of lessons learnt reports for all projects

Who You’ll Work With

  • Manages medium to large, or multiple small customer deployments with clearly defined objectives
  • Projects utilize existing or new Cisco technologies, multiple third party vendors and cross multiple functions, have high organization transparency and may include multiple locations or Regions
  • Manages multiple critical tasks in tight time frames

  • Creation of accurate effort/cost estimates
  • Ability to balance multiple complex and critical tasks
  • Advanced negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • Major account experience
  • Partner services delivery model experience
  • Ability to lead multiple project managers in the delivery cycle
  • Familiar with the Cisco organization goals, vision, policies and processes
  • Min 10 years experience handling full life cycle IT or network implementation in a clearly defined Project Management role
  • Basic knowledge of routing, routing protocols, switching, internet and general network architecture
  • Leadership skills and experience working with large project teams and strategic account teams
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Primavera, MS suite
  • BS/BA degree or similar
  • Formal project management qualification ideally PMI PMP or equivalent
