Description We are hiring a Program Events Manager for the new AT&T Discovery District in Downtown Dallas < >. This new space will encourage workers, residents and visitors to spend more time downtown, provide a gathering spot to shop, dine, relax and connect. It will offer an outdoor event space, public art spaces, retail locations and free Wi-Fi.

Our Program Events Manager will manage and oversee activities and operations for events at AT&T Headquarters and the AT&T Discovery District and manage all events from start to finish.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

+ end to end event planning; procuring talent, selecting themes & décor

+ full event production including, vendor management, marketing, and food & beverage

+ working with clients, vendors, staff, and leadership to host successful events

+ presenting detailed project proposals including budget requests

Events don’t always take place between 9 and 5 so your schedule will need to be flexible; evening and weekend work will be required.

Successful candidates should have:

+ excellent communication and negotiation skills

+ extensive experience (5+ years) in Event Management, Event Operations, Facility Operations and/or Venue Management experience at a facility capable of hosting several thousand attendees at one time

+ prefer a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with Certified Venue Professional Certification or equivalent
