TrueVR is about performance and innovation as a team, pushing the boundaries of what technology can do in the world of sports.  We are looking for a Production Manager to join our growing team.

As True VR Production Manager you will play a key role in the organization of schedules, budgets, and people.  Maintain the pulse of True VR’s weekly sporting and entertainment events calendar.  Create and implement the logistic plans for the broadcast crew (flights/lodging/transportation/credentials).  The Production Manager reports to and works in tandem with the Director of Broadcast Operations to assure comprehensive communication of all production logistics and works to resolve problems prior to event. 

In this role you will:

  • Provide oversight of staffing, scheduling and operations for day-today live production to avoid conflicts, overtime and to utilize the best resources for each production.
  • Planning and manage production schedules and shared costs among remote shows.
  • Organize remote productions and support with oversight of set up, logistics support, and budget. 
  • Create event production memo and distribute.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partnering networks and venue contacts through effective communication and follow up.
  • Onboard new field hires and process freelance crew payroll, Organize relevant training sessions
  • Understand the technical processes involved in broadcast production, including camera, audio, bandwidth and venue parameters. 
  • Work in tandem with Broadcast Operations Manager and Coordinating Producer providing some supervision and oversight of responsibilities.
  • Contributes to long-term strategy for all remote shows.

    Ideal Skill Set:

  • 3+ years’ experience as Production support in remote Sports Production Industry.
  • Strong sense of urgency with ability to prioritize under time constraints and work successfully in a fast-paced, innovative, environment.
  • Logical thinker, solution oriented.  Ability to manage multiple projects, lead groups and possess strong analytical skills. 
  • Available for travel throughout the calendar year for remote events, features, and special projects as assigned.
  • Experience with Microsoft Official applications.
  • Organization skills and attention to details are required. Demonstrated business relationships, multi-tasking skills and the ability to work well in a changing environment.
  • Desire to be a part of a unique, innovative, and challenging environment.  Easily approachable.
  • Have the initiative to help build and scale out new media Broadcast Operations. 
  • Ability to create and streamline workflows for improved efficiency.
