Product/Manufacture Engineer

Job Description

Responsible for production support engineering with respect to testing methods, procedures, and problem device specification and yield problems minor redesign of devices and masks analysis of customer returns and optimizing device production relative to cost constraints. Assumes responsibility for device after transfer into high volume production and usually responsible for entire device manufacturing operations other than wafer fabrication. May assist customer in device usage problems or customer testing of complex devices. Plans and schedules daily tasks, implements solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement based on standard practices.

Develops electro-mechanical product assembly processes by studying product requirements researching, crafting, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.

Develops product assembly and test instructions, training/guiding technicians.

Maintains and updates databases for product assembly and RMA.

Collaborates with Engineers and manufacturers to ensure product designs meet product manufacturing guidelines and DFM.

Coordinates with Engineers and Sales on product manufacture planning and scheduling.

Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods testing finished- product and process capabilities establishing standards confirming manufacturing processes.

Improves product assembly and test efficiency by analyzing and planning work flows, space requirements, and equipment layout.

Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs reviews production schedules estimates future requirements.

Provides technical support to contract manufacture by researching alternative components, Bill of Materials, Printed Circuit Boards, Mechanical drawings.

Performs root-cause analysis on both systems and electronic circuit board level as needed.


-  Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.

-  5+ years experiences in electronics design and/or manufacturing.

-  Talented in electronics components, circuit design, PCB layout and manufacturing.

-  Confirmed expertise in assessing product requirements researching, crafting, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.

-  Proficient in electronics product assembly and test.

-  Proficient with CAD/CAM software tools, Microsoft Office.

-  Able to work in a dynamic environment without detailed task instructions.

-  Excited and motivated to drive problems to solution.

-  Self-motivated and well-adapted with high sense of urgency.

-  Ability to manage numerous projects/tasks at once.

-  Some travel may be required
