What You'll Do
We're looking for a Product Manager with great business and technical skills. As a PM in the team, you'll engage internal and external customers and other product managers to identify new product opportunities, define & design product features, and work closely with development teams. Successful applicants will have experience building business cases, defining products, leading diverse, cross functional teams, positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and be able to adapt and iterate quickly.
You get to contribute in all stages of the product lifecycle. From defining product requirements to the design stage, building out a roadmap strategy, defining pricing/special bundles, helping customers through beta programs, releasing the product for general availability all the way to transitioning customers to new releases

Wireless market is transitioning faster into a partner managed and operated solutions. Aironet product portfolio has great opportunity in this market and can bring us higher market share. The Product Manager we are looking for is an industry expert in the MSDC customers are a critical part of market segments for Cisco Aironet portfolio.
 Experience in wireless automation for day 0 and day N, Standard based programmability and telemetry for wireless stack, License management, 4.MSDC customers like Google, Facebook, and Microsoft.


Who You Are

  • BSEE/CS or equivalent work experience with a Master's degree (MS/MBA) preferred
  • Development background in any language. 
  • 3+ years' work experience in product management, preferably in enterprise networking, applications, IT management, etc.
  • Experience in Forecasting, Pricing, and Promotions for highly technical enterprise products
  • Strong domain expertise in Networking (L2/L3), and SDN/Programmability and understanding of market dynamics, competition, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to create highly compelling product marketing collateral
  • Effective spokesperson skills engaging small and large customer groups
  • Ability to establish trusted relationship with 3rd party vendors
  • Ability to translate technology features into business benefits
  • Position is local to San Jose, California (relocation available if qualify)
