Product Manager will be a member of the product management team within the Internet of Things Software Group and help drive Cisco’s vision, strategy, and execution for IoT solutions in Smart Cities.

Who You'll Work With:
As part of the overall strategy, this role will be responsible for managing Smart Cities solutions and defining Cisco’s opportunity and requirements for success across municipal departments and constituencies. The market trend to connect millions of unconnected devices across the city presents a tremendous opportunity for Cisco.

The Cisco Smart+Cities team is

* Identifies and evaluates new IoT and Smart City solutions for cities/municipalities
* Identifies sensors, devices, capabilities, etc. needed to support IoT and Smart City solutions
* Develop competitive intelligence on IoT and Smart City Solutions to direct solutoin strategy

* Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute on Smart Cities strategy
* Effectively support the sales teams with technical presentations and demonstrations
* Enable technical sales teams through knowledge transfer and training
* Provide guidance for responses to RFI/RFP/RFQs

* Drive adoption of IoT PaaS solutions both internally and externally
* Provide feedback to enginering throughout the development and delivery process
* Manage solution lifecycle and field support from pilot to commercial adoption
* Assist in the evaluation of new solutions for integration into the IoT Roadmap/Strategy

Who You Are

Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience, MBA is preferred
* 3-5 years’ experience in engineering, technical product management
* 3-5 years’ experience with solution development across cross functional teams
* Ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly
* Proven leadership, organization, and planning skills
* Experience developing and managing technical requirements
* Ability to work independently while responding to changing business and technical conditions
