Product Functional Quality Engineer

Job Description
  • Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality standards for evaluating, assessing, and debugging component functionality and quality to stated specifications.
  • Creating technical collateral on product functional quality and reliability, such as Qualification Reports and 8D Reports
  • Supporting, investigating, resolving technical issues related to product functionality, quality, or application at customers, especially focusing on in-system operation of PSG components to replicate, isolate, and identify failure mechanisms
  • Leading initiatives and projects within PSG and with external partners/customers, enabling ongoing quality improvements to Intel PSG component products and related business processes
  • Building positive business relationships between Intel PSG and customers, including travel for face-to-face meetings as needed


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer/Systems Engineering or equivalent with 5 years of related work experience
  • Ability to work independently, as well as effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and planning skills
