What You'll Do

You will help us transform procurement for Cisco. You will build Business Value from Data Analytics for Cisco's Internal Business Clients in Engineering and Sales and be a trusted business partner and advisor. You be responsible for developing the category strategy in alignment with business goals, business function planning and reporting, develop and grow strategic supplier partnerships. As a senior procurement manager, you will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching junior team members and work with your peers across functional boundaries and leading change and adoption of the digital technology, process and tools across Cisco.

You will be part of a Global Procurement Team committed to provide our client and suppliers value-based outcomes. The team does this through Analytics-based decision support, digital innovation, supplier diversity and risk management. Our team provides an extraordinary working and learning environment in which to build careers. Global Procurement Services (GPS) Team is responsible for procurement of all Cisco indirect goods and services globally. GPS is dedicated to strong supplier development and category management capabilities, spend management, procurement operations, supplier diversity and procurement risk management.

Who You Are

You bring software or Networking Industry and Procurement & Supply Chain Management Experience.

You posses the ability to utilize Six Sigma, or other recognized Continuous Improvement principles and proven ability to formulate a Category/Commodity Strategy including critical metrics and Savings targets and successfully lead to execution. You have a deep understanding of procurement market trends and your Digital Skills include: Cost Accounting and Operations Service Metrics Framework (OaaS), Continuous Delivery, Digital Process Improvement, Analytics and Data Science, Effective Communications based on Data with familiarity with Cognitive and AI platforms. Proficiency with Fieldglass and Ariba is desired. You bring a real passion for achieving results and end to end supply chain understanding and Perspective.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BE/BS + MBA (preferred) with 12+ years of experience in a Software or Networking Industry with at least 10 of those years in Procurement & Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in Six Sigma, or other recognized Continuous Improvement principles
