Description Responsible for translating the core architecture for business requirements into the final technical solution (consisting of platform, network, software, etc.) through functional, performance, and reliability analysis using engineering models and techniques, primarily through software development throughout the vertical stack. This is a hands-on role that ultimately results in the delivery of an application or service. Designs, develops, documents and analyzes technology systems, maximizing reuse of target state platforms such as API, data fabric, or data routers platforms. Engineers integrated hardware and software solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs. Coordinates design, specification, and integration of total systems and subsystems. Assesses (proof of concept) and recommends solutions (algorithms and products) to improve the current systems.



The ideal candidate must work with a dev-ops teams to develop the architecture for the next generation of custom product platform, increasing the business value/offerings, reducing hardware needs, optimizing solution for a more efficient and lean delivery.



Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate engineering operations. Build highly scalable and highly available distributed systems. Apply technical expertise and experience in enhancing existing platform and develop the nextgen cloud-based platforms.



Must be able to own and drive multiple high priority initiatives. Enable engineering teams to deliver product features following agile methods. Support and maintain cloud-based platforms and Linux-based infrastructure. Apply prior technical expertise to automating deployments, evaluating process and building solutions pipelines for minimize. Monitor availability and performance of production systems and configure monitoring systems and alerts to keep the high availability required for the subscriptions platform.



Knowledge of Mobility network LTE/UMTS, Open stack/AIC and custom network aggregators will be a big plus.



Expertise required in: Linux, software development in c/c++, Vitalized machines, COTS Linux hardware.



**Required Qualifications** -



+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or related field

+ 8-10 years related technical architect experience

+ Proficient in engineering cost estimates and economic analyses and models

+ Knowledge of wireless technologies standards and protocols (3GPP, Wi-Fi, WiMax, antennas, amplifiers, base stations, propagation, interference, spectrum)

+ Proficient in voice, video, and app technologies/protocols (circuit, VoIP, SIP, IMS, AIN, Camel, etc.)

+ Proficient in network and system architecture (subsystems, interfaces, hw/sw dependencies).

+ Proficient in message and conference systems and networks (multiple media, notification, presence, unified communications, video).

+ Knowledge in Network Management, Tools and Protocols (Configuration, IP network Address Management, Perf, Mgmt).

+ Understands Virtualization, Storage and Content Delivery Networks (Cloud, CDM, Grid, SAN).

+ Proficient in specifying and evaluating architecture requirements for RFXs.



**Desired Qualifications** -



+ Enterprise wide deployment planning and support for mission critical applications for major releases, both business and infrastructure related

+ Develops technical documentation on applications and systems

+ Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams
