Responsibilities –

We have an opening for a talented power and performance engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the product power and performance characterization, validation and optimization.

You will follow the product life cycle: starting at the design step, moving to actual work on the silicon prototypes until the product is delivered to customers, making sure at each step the power and performance are optimized 

The job includes:

  • Close interface with architecture, design, and platform engineers
  • Analyses of silicon power consumption versus pre-silicon expectations and drive resolution of issues to meet targets
  • Gaining deep system level understanding of power and performance management flows at the hardware, firmware, operating system and driver levels
  • Responsibility for overall system level optimization under various usage scenarios
  • Contribute towards power and performance optimizations flows for future products


Qualifications

  • Qualifications

  • BSC degree in Computer/ Electrical Engineering with relevant SW courses
  • Excellent practical problem solving and result oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advantage:

  • Coding experience Assembly, Python, C++, C
  • Understanding and experience with OS's
  • Familiarity with CPU architecture
