Photonic Device Design Engineer

Job Description

Intel's Silicon Photonics Product Division is seeking an experienced photonic device design engineer to own and drive optical modulator and related component design, development and integration into our next generation transmitter product. As part of the photonics component development team, you will be responsible for: *defining modulator architecture based on product requirement document and/or customer application specification *owning device design, layout and tape-out, characterization and performance debug *working with engineering and manufacturing teams to define fabrication process and test requirements *driving device improvement and maturation from pathfinding through product release.
