Date: Jan 13, 2018 Location: Dallas, TX, US Company: Ericsson Purpose of job role Provide comprehensive Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) support for relevant organization, coordinate responsibilities to meet business needs and ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety requirements and procedures The OHS SMEs in the Market Areas are accountable for leading and executing OHS in the geographical area. They are responsible for; implementing OHS Policy, directives and procedures in the MA and ensuring that management is aligned with them establishing and maintaining a MA OHS organization that provides direct support to operations and CUs secure performance that meets or exceeds customer and legal requirements defining and executing MA OHS programs and securing adherence to strategy and targets assess and support business changes and opportunities from OHS perspective monitoring, controlling and reporting OHS performance, provide feedback and recommend actions for areas of improvement providing functional expertise to all functions in the MA and securing legal compliance check Incident reporting, flash report providing incident investigation and root cause analysis Provide executive support including overall performance according to targets as well as risk assessment SPOC for OHS audits and support for EGMS compliance Key Qualifications: Education: A recognized formal OHS qualification e.g. degree or diploma (Example Post Grad / Degree and MSc in OHS Health and Safety Management or NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or other recognized certification.) Min 10 years of demonstrated work experience in OHS area Knowledge about telecommunications Personal Skills Leadership Persuading and Influencing Writing and reporting Analyzing Planning and organizing Delivering results and meeting customer expectations Following instructions and procedures Typical Interfaces: Reporting: Direct reporting to Global Head of OHS and hosted under Head of Networks in the Market Area External: Customers, Partners, 3rd Party Suppliers, governments, and external industry contacts.
