Job Description
This application engineer AE position drives and manages NSG Optane product in Key NSG direct accounts. The AE will work closely with customers to manage the technical engagement on Intel Optane product solutions by understanding application requirements, negotiating design-wins, and debugging customer hardware, firmware, and application barriers to adoption. You will be responsible for interfacing with customers and Optane ecosystem partners to understand the market landscape and help shape Intel's future Optane product definition and direction.This customer facing role evangelizes technical benefits of Optane creates preference for Intel Optane offerings follow the landing of Intel solutions in customers and provides continuing technical support for qualified products supports ecosystem and tools enabling to drive Optane adoption. Responsibilities may include: participating in new product definition and development representing and advocating technical customer needs to internal stakeholders path-finding with customers on Optane and final landing. The AE works with the sales team to resolve technical questions participates in customers meetings and presentations acts as technical adviser, consultant, analyst, and program manager for customer technical interactions responds to/supports customer requests or events as they occur develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment. The AE will work closely with customers and partners to establish strong relationships that deliver results meeting NSG's business objectives in the data center/enterprise.This position involves business travel depending on the assigned customers, approximately 25%-35%.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5-years work experience with knowledge of configuring, optimizing, and testing server, storage system, or other complex system products - Experience with Compute and/or Storage System hardware and/or software using both Windows and Linux based operating systems in the data center/enterprise - Be familiar with cloud solution, including distributed system, or database performance tuning, or memory tuning, Or solutions like SPARK.- Experience on SSD/Fast storage will be preferred.- Technical fluency in debugging System issues that may be hardware, firmware, and/or application related - Experience summarizing Technical concepts, and delivering top ranked Technical or sales training to both small and large audiences of technical domain experts - Demonstrated Experience working with customers to clarify requirements, manage expectations, and resolve complex engineering or customer engagement challenges - Exceptional ability to work within a team, identify and leverage Technical experts, influence functional capabilities to facilitate work products, and apply personal know-how to expand the team's knowledge and skill set - Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude excellent interpersonal and written communications skills unabashed longing to jump-in and help active listening skills, including experience investigating and understanding customer requirements and proactively identifying potential issues
