Cisco TAC seeks a Network Engineer specialized in Security Technologies (AAA) to be part of the TAC (Technical Assistance Center). In this role, you will gain insight on the detailed functionality of Cisco products and partner with all distributed elements of the service chain.


What You Will Do

  • Work for worldwide customers within their own team or with other Cisco teams to solve problems and enhance future products with senior engineer supervision.
  • Solves reported product and network problems of moderate and high complexity.
  • Effectively utilize technical and customer relationship skills as well as databases of existing issues, debugging tools and lab simulations to analyze problems and identify solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide systems/product training and identifies improvement opportunities and recommendations in products and processes.
  • Keep up-to-date with the newest technology products in their area of expertise in order to provide a high quality support in current and future types of support services.


Who You Are

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications).
  • Minimum 1 year of customer support experience or equivalent customer facing exposure.
  • Good technical foundation in networking (CCNA equivalent level or above) is required.
  • Fluent English.
  • Passion and demonstrated ability to learn and work in a multicultural team environment.
  • Ability to drive to achieve goals with limited supervision.
  • Resilience to work under pressure, ability to prioritize pending tasks.
