MIT MSD Automation Engineer

Job Description

First contact Incident or Event factory automation software systems support across TMG Factories FSM/ATM, applying advanced troubleshooting to automation system problems. Drives continuous improvement efforts to meet automation systems health goals, as well as emerging capability needs. Position has capability to utilize Automation expertise to work with the L2 organization for continuous improvement.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor Degree on Computer Science or IT related field

- This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge on computer technology, Knowledge on computer network and info security.

- Fundamental understanding about client-server connection, and application-database interaction.

- Skill and experience in IT, Computer and peripheral support.

- Flexibility to work a Night shift that consists of a 12 hour workday.

- Able to work and communicate in an environment that has cross-site teams, a plus if the candidate is able to speak, read or write in Mandarin.

- Good communication skills, ability to present technical information both verbally and written
