Mexico Field Sales Engineer

Job Description

This is a commissioned sales position.

As a Field Sales Engineer, you will join a dynamic team focused on winning designs and generating revenue (local billings) in a market which is tightly aligned with Intel’s growth strategy for the virtuous cycle of computing. Responsible for managing the relationship (commercial/technical) between Intel and top Mexican OEMs/Channels. Focus will be on products from CCG, NSG and CHD, including consumer/SMG broadband gateway SOCs, WAN connectivity, access point WiFi chipsets, and Memory/Storage solutions. During customer's product design cycle, you will be expected to:
• Provide design assistance including on-site visits to review designs, examine customer problems and provide suggestions on optimal ways to use Intel products.
• Manage relationships between Intel and customers by establishing relationships with key individuals at accounts.

• Identify and develop new opportunities within accounts.
• Understand competitor's strengths and weaknesses relative to the appropriate commercial/technical strategy.
• Manage forecasts, supply and communication to obtain required support and coordination from stakeholders.
• Assist the customer throughout the development cycle to ensure successful completion of the product and sales.
This position requires leadership and local business knowledge (Channel, LOEMs, CHAMP/ODM, Distributors, pricing, T&Cs, etc).

Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or computer science engineering.
- 3 years experience working with Distributors, Channel, LOEMs.
- 3 years sales/Pre-Sales experience.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Technical experience/background is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of the PC Component and OEM dynamics in Mexico, plus Asia TechEcosystem.
- Strong collaborative skills to work cross-teams in country as well as with the Business Units.
- Comfort with risk-taking and disruptive approaches to drive Business Unit success.
