Master Thesis: TX level planning for modern cellular system

Further development of a transmit TX level plan calculation tool.

Reliable and precise calculation of mobile transmitters on system level is essential part of RF product development. Rapidly increased complexity of the LTE system and up-coming 5G systems require continuous enhancement of system calculation tools.

The primary task is the further development of an existing TX level plan following an object-oriented flow.The purpose of this thesis is to improve quality and coverage of the TX system calculation in mobile equipment.


  • Programming languages : Python, Matlab
  • Knowledge: System level understanding of modern RF systems, linear and non-linear calculations in RF systems
  • Knowledge in 2G, 3G and 4G RF requirements is a plus
  • Understanding of RF measurement is a plus
