Master Thesis: ACLR detector in a cellular transceiver (f/m)

Next generation of Intel's transceiver will have dedicated digital hardware to measure the amount of distortion introduced by the power amplifier by using an internal ACLR detector Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio. This possibility opens the door to a lot of possible utilizations, like automatic PA reconfiguration during call or self-alignment in factory.

The main task will be the performance evaluation of the ACLR detector. You will contribute to the parameterization of its coefficients and evaluate performance in laboratory. You will analyse the source of inaccuracies and propose adequate strategies to compensate them.Furthermore, You will be involved in the definition of algorithms which use the ACLR detector, for example to automatically find the best biasing point of a power amplifier for a given frequency and power level.
