Mask/OPC Software Development Engineer

Job Description

The Intel NVM (Non Volatile Memory) Process Technology Development group is responsible for developing state of the art NVM technologies like 3D-NAND & 3D-Xpoint. As a Mask/OPC development engineer within this organization you will be chartered with coding and maintaining software programs and tools supporting mask tapeout automation, OPC and RET algorithms, and mask data prep procedures for current and future NVM technologies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with tapeout engineers to develop, optimize, and maintain software and tools to support production tapeout generation and mask ordering along with documentation and logging of all operations
  • Work with OPC engineers to develop and maintain automation software supporting OPC development and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for model or rules-based OPC functions and verification to optimize masks for 3D-Nand and 3D-Xpoitn products
  • Interface with multiple other groups like Process Integration, Design Rules, CAD, Layout, Scribe and Mask shops with patience and thoroughness.
  • Drive projects across multi-disciplinary teams focusing on layout and mask generation, litho or code issues.
  • Drive diagnostic projects across multi-disciplinary teams to understand product and test structure failures and their interaction with layout and mask synthesized data.
