Who You’ll Work With The vision of Global Marketing and Communications is to be an innovative leader in real-time, personalized marketing and communications. Our opportunity lies in creating unified, omni-channel digital and human experiences.We identified six strategic imperatives: Digital, Brand, Customer Experience, Content, Operating Model and Talent. The Greater China Marketing and Communications team will contribute to bring GM&C's vision to life by:- Tightly integrated with Sales team to design and execute customer experience journey.- Create content relevant to local audience.- Lead with digital innovation. We will lead the audience-centric and country-centric decision making model. What You’ll Do - Responsible for creating and executing on impactful content targeted to specific audiences relative to a specific technology or vertical industry.- Develop a deep understanding of Cisco Enterprise Networking solutions and services including product portfolio, market, trends and competition.- Understand market share, competitor's marketing and sales program activities. Analyze and ensure differentiation in the market for GC built content and feedback into global content teams. - Develop product positioning and messaging, including message hierarchy that support overall Cisoc brand and technology positioning, that articulates the value proposition of Cisco products/ solutions. - Build and execute annual editorial calendar, inclduing launches, that support overall positioning and messaging.- Create content that supports annual editorial calendar, using templates and guidelines to adhere to brand, journeys, targeted personas, creative platform guidelines and customer references. This includes to blogs, white papers, case studies, social posts, ebooks, info graphics, videos, customer proof points and references and more.- Upload and maintain content on global content platform.- Actively monitor content that is available or under development both globally and in other countries.- Review of project documentation, messaging objectives, product and solution customer benefits.- Contribute to the regional and global marketing community your given topic area.- Track content performance indicators to continuously improve the quality and relevance of content in local market.- Work via Customer Marketing Manager to co-ordinate messages and activity into the market and drive content adoption.- Work via Marcom team with local agencies for final creative and production on - Execute on content day to day for ongoing digital publishing, social media, blogs and sales engagement activities. - Be single point of contact with Global Marketing, represent Greater China and proactively engage Marketing Leader of Taiwan/ Hong Kong cluster Who You Are - 6-10+ years of relevant work experience in technical marketing in respective field of DC/Cloud, Enterprise Networking, and Collaborations.- BA/BS degree required. Master or MBA a plus- Speak, read and write English fluently- Critical thinking, holistic approach and good project management - Interpersonal communication, Creativity, influencing and negotiation skills- Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-function team Why Cisco We connect everything: people, processes, data, and things.
