To maintain its leadership position, the AT&T Experience Design Studio (XDS) is looking for a talented Lead UX Writer to oversee the editorial and copywriting strategy and execution for the entire portfolio of AT&T Entertainment products. As one of the leaders of a deep and experienced design team, you will define the editorial tone and voice of the Next Generation platform, ensuring it delivers a seamless and delightful user experience.



**Responsibilities**



+ Initiate and drive all UX copywriting projects from ideation, planning and launch through testing and implementation, ensuring that they align to our branded experience

+ Partner with internal groups and teams to foster a strong collaborative culture

+ Work closely with interaction design teams to align design features, taxonomy, and nomenclature

+ Manage all internal and external copywriting resources and vendors

+ Establish a close working relationship with the AT&T brand strategy and design teams to ensure full alignment with the AT&T brand vision

+ Develop and maintain editorial style guides, tone of voice principles, and any additional guidelines to ensure a cohesive voice across all products

+ Establish and maintain editorial and copywriting design processes to ensure efficiency, quality and consistency

+ Work both in a hands-on and oversight capacity across projects.

+ Work closely with various technical teams (development, UAT/QA, etc)



**Minimum Qualifications**



+ Bachelors degree in English, writing, or equivalent and relevant major

+ Minimum 8-10 years experience in brand, copywriting, or editorial

+ Experience writing UX copy across digital devices (mobile, tablet, web). UX writing experience for TV is a plus.

+ Expertise in managing external vendors and agencies

+ Software proficiency

+ Omnigraffle/Visio

+ Adobe Creative Cloud suite

+ Microsoft Office suite **Required Characteristics & Abilities**

+ Problem solving: digest the goal/challenge of a project, create realistic solution options, identify pros/cons and make recommendations

+ Collaboration: work effectively within and across teams, with multiple personality types and cultural backgrounds

+ Communication: experience giving design presentations to various audiences from different disciplines and levels

+ Leadership: lead/drive projects, anticipate challenges, meet deadlines and inspire the design team to do the same

+ Management: experience building and leading teams.

+ Receptivity: able to learn quickly and apply new knowledge adeptly

+ Agility: work comfortably in a fast-paced, changing environment
