Job Description

The Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is looking for talented, highly motivated candidates to work intimately with our lead customers to co-develop FPGA based Autonomous Driving systems. Working alongside Intel processors, the FPGA is delivering a highly efficient, flexible and scalable platform to solve our automotive customers’ intricate processing challenges.

As an algorithm expert in System Solution Engineering (SSE) department, you will be responsible for research and definition of work functions for development team. You will work and collaborate in a rapid learning environment, alongside industry experts and the most innovative automotive manufacturers to accelerate next generation autonomous driving algorithms through highly optimized embedded FPGA implementations. Key responsibilities:

  • Work with strategic customers to develop and deliver customer driven Proof-of-Concept, Solutions and Benchmarks, demonstrating the value of Intel FPGA
  • Research, envision and define solutions in collaboration with business developers, strategic marketing architects, engineering organizations within PSG and across Intel corporation. 
  • Define functional work for development teams
  • Customer enablement: Support strategic customer development using Intel FPGA products
  • Work in close collaboration with the Intel FPGA Software and VLSI teams to drive new features and improvements to FPGA design tools and FPGA Integrated Circuit.

Qualifications

  • M.S in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related degree 
  • Experience of in field of FPGA, Embedded SW, Machine Vision, Signal or Image Processing.
  • Experience in FPGA design and architecture
  • Experience Software Algorithms Development using C/C++ or OpenCL or CUDA
  • Experience in Systems Engineering and Architecture

Additional (Preferred) Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will bring experience in 

  • Automotive R&D (automotive electronics, automotive algorithms, etc.)
  • 10+ years in field of FPGA, Embedded SW, Machine Vision, Signal or Image Processing.
  • 4+ years in FPGA design and architecture
  • 4+ years in Software Algorithms Development using C/C++ or OpenCL or CUDA
  • 2+ years in Systems Engineering and Architectur

and experience with

  • MATLAB/ Simulink
  • C/C++, OpenCL, CUDA
  • Verilog or VHDL design for FPGA
  • Functional Safety Considerations
  • Real-Time systems
  • Computer Vision, Video, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Machine Vision
