Lead GPU SW Performance Analyst

Job Description
Technical lead who can work effectively with cross-geo teams spanning software development, validation engineering, hardware/software architecture and other support teams to deliver highly optimized best-in-class software solution for high performance Graphics.Analyze graphics and GPGPU hardware and software performance for current and future game titles and applications on existing hardware and future platforms via simulations. Analyze low level metrics like CPU cycles, memory latency, power and other key system utilization stats. Implement driver-based optimizations, engage with Game ISVs to optimize for Intel* Graphics and drive recommendations and studies for future hardware design.Continuously enhance graphics drivers for currently shipping platforms to deliver compelling graphical user experiences for new games titles, applications and operating system upgrades.Demonstrate a structured approach in design, development and verification of device driver features and enhancements for modern graphics and GPGPU APIs DirectX, Metal and Vulkan and Operating Systems including Microsoft Windows* and MacOS*.


Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of industry experience in R&D, product development and/or validation. -OR- Master's Degree with 7+ years of industry experience in R&D, product development and/or validation. Strong background and experience in C++ Solid understanding and experience developing applications with at least one modern graphics API such as Metal and DirectX. Strong interest and knowledge in the areas of 3D graphics pipeline and rendering techniques Strong oral and written communication skills and clarity in technical communicationsDesire and ability to quickly learn and deliverSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and lead technical projectsPreferred:Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalentExperience developing graphics device drivers and hardware/software interfacing Experience developing production software in a Scrum/Kanban Team with Multi-geo and cross-cultural communication experienceKnowledge of Windows*, Linux* and/or MacOS* operating systems and experience in developing applications and/or drivers for these operating systemsExperience and/or knowledge in compilers is an added advantage
