Lead Content Curator

What You’ll Do

This is a strategic position focused on curating the best, most engaging content that when consumed by customers, drives customer adoption and expanded use of the Stealthwatch system. In this role, you will work closely with the Customer Success organizations including Professional Services, Technical Support and Customer Success management (known as content partners) to cultivate and curate content from these groups of experts and transform the content into customer consumable information that drives value for our customers. The position reports to the Manager of Educational Services for Customer Success.

Who You’ll Work With

In this role, you will collaborate with Content Partners and Internal Stakeholders to:

  • Complete a content inventory and audit.
  • Identify any new content, best practices, trends and/or methodologies to bring forward to our customers.
  • Identify and prioritize the development of content solutions for customers (e.g., knowledge articles, web articles, blog posts, videos or content to be included in training and or workshops).
  • Develop content (e.g., knowledge articles, web articles, blog posts, videos or content to be included in training and or workshops.
  • Establish a content maintenance lifecycle.
  • Solicit feedback from content partners and customers on the customer content solutions.
  • Project manage the delivery of content solutions.
  • Establish strategies to promote the use of content.
  • Establish analytics to assess the value of the content created.
  • Establish, manage, and maintain content usage analytics and associated action plans.
  • Manage priorities among a very diverse and demanding group of internal stakeholders

In this role, you will collaborate with the Xyleme team to:

  • Align the curation approach with the broader content strategy within the Stealthwatch Educational Services team and the larger Security Business Unit.
  • Ensure the content maintenance lifecycle for non-educational materials aligns with the broader content maintenance lifecycle established by the Xyleme Team.
  • Align with the governance plans and processes established by the Xyleme team.
  • Adhere to existing styles and standards.
  • Collaborate with the Xyleme team to identify new types of outputs to support non-educational content.
  • Collaborate with the Xyleme team to curate content objects into new specific deliverables for customers.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate has a keen editorial eye, sharp writing and editing skills, sound judgment of what makes good content. To be successful, the candidate must be intellectually curious and globally minded, as well as highly organized, very detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a strong multi-tasker.

  • B.S. in English, Communications or Library Science
  • 4-5 years of experience in media, video, writing, editorial
  • Sound editorial judgment and a sharp curatorial eye for evaluating content that will thrive in a digital environment
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills
  • Confidence in pitching ideas and digital content to content partners, internal stakeholders and the Educational Services team
  • Self-starter who sets high and ambitious goals, and also works well as part of a team
  • Great organization skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience managing a small team of interns or writers is preferred
  • Design sensibility, Photoshop skills, and basic video editing skills, are all a plus
  • Track record of delivering complex, strategic projects
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
