This is a team of consumers first and foremost, and you will engage in lively conversations about what our competitors are doing, and how it's received. This team is on the cutting edge and can see or even forecast where the company is going. You get to read the crystal ball! You will also get to interact with our own thought-leaders, and even pick up the phone and engage in conversations with them!

**Aspects of the role include:**

+ Track, report, and conduct business analysis of AT&T Mobility's competitive performance. Integrate a variety of external data on industry trends, network and market share performance and analyze AT&T’s competitive position.

+ Forecast competitor moves in the marketplace based on factors including: industry growth, network enhancements and performance, flow share, market share, and subscriber performance

+ Collaborate with Marketing Strategy and Senior Management to develop market mapping models and analyses that will enable AT&T to evaluate the changing landscape of the competitive marketplace.

+ Conduct ad hoc analyses to model impacts of a range of competitive market strategies. This may include activities such as exploring competitive responses to AT&T’s launch of new products/services or anticipating competitive moves in the marketplace.

+ Research and present key findings, insights, and implications to targeted clients that effectively simplify complex data and analytics down to simple, concise, actionable summaries.

+ Develop and/or support tools that promote an insights culture and inform/influence key decisions.

**A successful background includes:**

+ Seven or more years’ experience working with Marketing in a Market Research, Finance, Sales Ops, or a related capacity

+ Wireless network experience highly desired

+ Three or more years’ experience in a technology-related industry

+ Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

+ Advanced analytical/modeling work

+ Demonstrated ability to identify implications of non-traditional events in the marketplace, and communicate these effectively to internal clients

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field of study; and/or an MBA, is preferred
