What You'll Do

Customers are demanding features turned around in weeks, see them work in their labs and deploy them in an Agile manner; enhance the implementation based on field feedback and so on. You need to be excited about understanding the requirement, design and code them to deliver a quick early drop, and be agile to refine it based on real field feedback to make it ready for deployment. In all of this, top focus is a must on the aspect of quality, so that our Customers do not lose time and money during their deployment and Operations.

Who You'll Work With

You will be working with Engineering IT and Supply Chain IT to transform the end to end product making and orchestrate workflow and process to leapfrog into digitized manufacturing. Ideal candidate should have deep domain understanding of Engineering and Supply chain areas along with in-depth technology exposure.

Who You Are

You will have a deep architectural and technical understanding of big data domain including Mongo, Hadoop, HANA etc. You will have expert level hands-on experience in Java and related technologies. You will have exposure to microservice architecture, various UI/UX technologies, product life cycle and tools.


You have good communication skills and possess the ability to influence others. You are comfortable working with a cross-functional and geographically diverse team. You pride yourself on solving problems creatively and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. 

Our minimum requirements for this position are:

  • 10+ years of industry exposure in the software and application development area
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Extensive experience in big data domain - Mongo, Hadoop, or HANA
  • Expert level hands-on experience in Java and related technologies
  • Exposure to Microservice architecture.

Our preferred and desired skills for this role include:

  • Experience in bios, bootloaders and device drivers and would be preferred. 
  • Experience in Linux, CPU architectures, virtualization and Linux device drivers would be a plus 
  • Experience with standardization such as working in IETF would be a bonus. 
  • Experience in an Agile development environment where the team is empowered and accountable for delivery (development & test) of quality software. 
  • Customer experience: Reproduction and debugging of customer issues, handling of field queries
  • Exposure to product life cycle and tools
