International Tax Manager

Job Description

Overview:

Intel is seeking an International Tax Manager to join our corporate tax department and play an integral role on our international team.  This position will be based in our headquarters in Santa Clara, California.  This role will take on managing all aspects of the day to day operations of US international tax compliance. 

Job responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage work plans for international tax projects/teams;
  • Assist with US federal income tax returns Form 5471, 8865, 8858, 926, 1118, disclosures & elections statements including coordinating data delivery and performing detailed review of the forms and workpapers;
  • Calculate Earnings and Profits, tax pools, Subpart F inclusions, Section 78 Gross up, tax basis, and foreign tax credit;
  • Prepare and review Form 8832 - Entity Classification Election, US Residency certificates, and foreign applications for income tax convention;
  • Collaborate with geography tax teams outside U.S. tax organization, as needed;
  • Prepare and review the quarterly tax estimates, cash flows, and income inclusions;
  • Support foreign tax provisions and reporting process;
  • Assist with IRS Information Documents Requests (IDRs) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal control requirements;
  • Assist with international tax planning, M&A integration, and structuring projects;
  • Research international tax issues associated with proposed and completed business transactions. 
  • Assist in process improvements and coordinate with Tax Technology team to facilitate streamlining and automation of recurring calculations.


Qualifications

Qualifications requirements:

  • CPA, and/or MST required and at least six years of experience in the tax function at a multinational corporation and/or public accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in analyzing model data, strong attention to details.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and knowledge of SAP, Corptax tax software are a plus.
  • Excellent organization, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and meet targeted deadlines for project completion.
