Cisco’s Corporate Strategic Innovation Group (CSIG), part of CSO, is a high-energy, motivated team that shares a passion for all-things innovation. This includes our Innovation Centers, located around the world. At the Centers, disruptive talent comes together to explore, discover and develop groundbreaking solutions to solve customers’ toughest challenges. The Centers are fast-paced, high-energy hotspots, where the spirit of entrepreneurship is alive and well - in fact, thriving.

Who You Are

The Center Leader will manage a functioning Innovation Center. This includes:

  • Setting strategy for ecosystem engagement in the region (in partnership with local and corporate team)
  • Enabling and delivering local and corporate ecosystem programs (developers, startups, ecosystem partners, portfolio companies)
  • Business Development: Scouting for partnership opportunities for the Center, identify companies whose products and solutions map to Cisco technical strategy
  • Driving day-to-day activities of the Center (workshops, hackathons, programs, events)
  • Drive Innovation Center operational targets and metrics
  • Partner management (ensure ongoing relationships with existing and future partners)
  • Support country Government strategy and execution within the Center
  • Building, or maintaining a profile as a thought leader in one or more of the Innovation Centre focal areas – Agtech, Smart Cities, Smart Transport

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years working and delivering results in the areas of Technology, Sales Business Development, Venture Capital and Innovation.
  • Strong technology strategy skills with specific focus on digital disruption and the impact it is having in the economy.
  • Excellent Business acumen skills and successful track record in managing operations, building and launching new programs and scaling business/products from ground up.
  • Exceptional organizational & leadership skills and ability to coach and quickly develop a high performance team that will execute, track and manage complex programs
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and at all levels to close gaps in conflicting priorities and to gain alignment to achieve common goals
  • High energy and sense of urgency. Self-starter and self-motivated. Thrive in a pressured environment. Exhibit drive and tenacity.
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and presentation
  • Exceptional stakeholder and change management skills.

  Desired Skills

  • Budgeting, finance, Business Process, change management and value chain expertise
  • Confident in charting a path and making decisions with ambiguity and limited information, while at the same time identifying and managing risk.
