IMR Repair Development Engineer

Job Description
  • Responsible for developing new repair project for IMR.
  • Perform engineering analysis, tear down study, initial ROI calculation, reverse engineering, refurbishment, process development, documentation on the repaired module to enable timely deployment and maximize saving for factories.
  • Train up technician on the newly developed repair process and sustain the project until it EOL.
  • Work cohesively with crossed-sites engineering team and various vendors to establish the repair capabilities in the shortest time.
  • Influence customers to utilize IMR engineering services and assist in expanding IMR business.
  • Help to develop technician's career development and role model in discipline and professionalism. Deliver the business expectations with the highest quality and integrity.


  • Bachelor Degree in mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering.
  • Must be able to read and interpret schematic, engineering diagram, specs or technical drawing.
  • Good in engineering programming such as C language, Pearl scrip or equivalent. Having experience in equipment troubleshooting, installation and repair will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skill and be comfortable presenting issues and solution.
  • Ability to work well in diverse team environment and multitask.
