Date: Aug 7, 2017 Location: Bucharest, B, RO Company: Ericsson Job Summary: We are now looking for a Capacity Manager role. Your main responsibility is to ensure, to secure that the best cost efficient infrastructure is always present, based on the current and future agreed business needs, and that additional capacity is ordered, allocated, configured and deployed on the correct time to allow the best infrastructure utilization. Purpose of Job Role Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the following: • Production and maintenance of the Capacity Plan • Ensure that there is adequate capacity to meet required levels of service and the use of existing capacity is optimized • Organize gathering of information from the network. Includes threshold values, licenses, setting values, etc. • Assess impacts of change • Suggestion expansion or optimization • Periodic analysis on capacity related incidents and problems • Forecast future capacity requirements based on business plans, usage trends, etc • Produce reports for various organizations • Drive knowledge transfer and awareness of C&P related issues into the wider organization Key Qualifications: • Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom) or similar • 5 years’ experience in the service delivery or managed services operations (preferably knowledge on both areas) • Negotiation & Argumentation Skills • Presentation Skills • Ability to optimize value creation with limited budget & resources • Communication Skills • Analytical Skills • MSTOP, ITIL and eTOM process knowledge Technical background: • Good level of OS and infrastructure knowledge: UNIX (Sun Solaris/HP-UX), Linux, Windows • knowledge on network monitoring tools (eg: OSS, Cacti, Zabbix etc); • Experience with scripting: Ksh, Bash, Perl • Experience with Databases: Oracle, SQL, MySql • Amazon Web Services is a plus Additional Requirements: • Knowledge sharing and collaboration skills • English skills • Delivering results & meeting customer expectations • Planning & organizing • Applying expertise & technology Why is Ericsson a great place to work?
