What You'll Do


Key responsibilities:

  • You will partner with the country General Managers, providing coaching and advice, develop and implement HR strategies and plans which support their business priorities.
  • You will develop employee engagement initiatives to make Cisco a ‘great place to work’ for all employees, all functions.
  • You will develop inclusion and collaboration strategies to attract diverse talent into Cisco, increase awareness of I&D.
  • You will support with organizational changes and acquisitions.
  • You will work closely with the Centers Of Excellence to ensure delivery of Employee Relations, Talent Management and Total Rewards projects and initiatives.
  • You will be responsible for HR related local governance and compliance items across all business and functions in the region.
  • You will participate in any North Europe or EMEAR wide activities as identified by the Head of HR.

We are looking for a talented HR Consultant for Denmark and Sweden. This role is that of an HR generalist providing support for the region and reports to the HR Leader for the EMEAR North region (Benelux, Nordics & Baltics).

Then you will likely have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven organizational development and advising skills to serve as a trusted advisor to major business and HR leaders
  • Solid team experience with ability to inspire and willing to lead change through the team
  • Experience of working in complex, dynamic and constantly changing environments with a high focus on collaboration
  • Experience in the operational aspects of an HR role including sound understanding of the HR Calendar of services
  • Experience in supporting sales organizations or a North-American company desirable but not essential
  • Wish and ability to see the bigger picture in order to deliver against priorities
  • Ability and positive mindset to handle ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to engage and influence Senior Leaders in the business, with confidence and credibility
  • Confidence to work in a highly virtual environment
  • An advanced degree in business or HR
  • Fluency in Danish or Swedish as well as English
