Hardware/Firmware Validation Engineer for FreeD group

Job Description

Intel FreeD Israel is looking for Hardware/Firmware Validation engineer that will be responsible for validating embedded system firmware and perform automated validation tools and test execution.

In this role you will create an automated test environment and automated test cases that evaluate HW and FW components based on FPGA.

Our test setups include Cameras, Windows Servers and SW Algorithm components based on computer vision and image processing. You will be responsible for improving the test environment and preparing automated tests in one or more test frameworks used in our labs. Our department is involved in several hardware and software algorithm projects and you will have a unique opportunity to learn why Intel is the world leading company worldwide.   • Engineering degree with 2+ years of work experience.
  • General object-oriented programming skills in C++ .
  • Understanding of low-level programming, system architecture, operating systems, device architecture and hardware design.
  • Good team work and cooperation.


  • Understanding of real time systems characteristics
  • Experience with hardware and/or software/firmware validation
  • Familiarity with test methodologies and continuous integration processes
