Who You'll Work With

Reporting to the VP, Solutions, Architectures and Engineering, Global Partner Organization. This leader is responsible for shaping and executing strategic priorities for the Cisco Global Partner Organization across WW Sales Architectures, Business Entities, and, GEO Partner Sales teams with a primary focus on Cisco's Collaboration Portfolio as well as SW Buying Models. This person will consult with sales, business units, field channel teams and other functional organizations regarding strategic and tactical planning, management and execution of the key initiatives needed to drive share shift, competitive strategy, and, cross architectural technology leadership to improve partner mind/wallet share, and, also serve as a tech Architectural interface into the Global Virtual Sales/Engineering organization for similar needs.

This leader is a strategic thinker who can balance the needs of Cisco's current routes as he or she helps them evolve their practice capabilities while also unlocking new routes to market as Cisco's portfolio grows with a focus on SaaS.

What You'll Do

* Provide thought leadership into WW Sales strategy, planning and execution
* Guide architectural decisions on building and delivering integrated solutions.
* Provide subject matter expertise on critical architectural capabilities and lifecycle services.
* Provide go to market guidance on the key sales imperatives and ensuring consistent adoption across architectures and GEOs
* Develop, operationalize and align the critical cross functional activities to drive Cisco's FY18 plan assurance initiatives
* Build and establish global sales competitive war room
* Serve as executive presence to BE, WW Sales Leadership, and, ELT for key competitive discussions
* Develop key sales plans/plays to accelerate business opportunities via Global Sales Scaling Engines (GVS, Partners)
* Partner closely with GEO Partner Teams, BEs, Global Virtual Engineering, and, other key stakeholders to drive portfolio rationalization, cross architetural competitive strategy, etc


Who You Are 

* Extensive Sales & Channel go-to-market knowledge in technology with a preference for Collaboration and the Collaboration industry
* Credible relationships with WW Sales, BE-s, Partners, Field Sales
* Successful track record of results driving acceleration of Cisco's key solutions
* Experience designing, architecting, and implementing partner/sales acceleration plans
* Leadership mind set with the ability to set direction and guide others
* Ability to organize, motivate and virtually lead and influence, across the functional and business unit organizations of Cisco
* Constant, clear communication and facilitation of objectives, status, tactics and results to all stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills and executive presence


Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree required. MBA or Masters degree computer science is preferred. Field Sales experience a plus * 10+ years' experience in managing operations, program management or strategy development * Experience working in large, complex organizations * Proven success, record of high performance and strong leadership skills
