The Global Enterprise Theater (GET) will lead this evolution in the Enterprise segment with responsibility for 29 of our TOP and largest Global Enterprise Clients who are willing and ready to partner with Cisco to implement a truly global architectural approach

The Team

Global Account Manager (GET GAM)

Global Account Manager acts as the Global Portfolio Account Manager, a seasoned sales leader responsible for maintaining the relationship TOP GET Clients. The GAM works to create a seamless customer experience establishing trusted advisor status at a customer executive level. The GAM is responsible for and measured against the long term development value of the client relationship.

•Reports directly to Regional Manager
•Required to drive Cisco GET Business strategy and objectives with a few key and strategic GET Clients in HK

Job Responsibilities

Global Account Leadership
Leadership of the account/ Territory and the customers business by collaborating with a virtual team across the region and Client Directors team at HQ

Build Trusted Advisor Executive Relationships
Builds a strong and Trusted Advisor relationship with the customer at the executive level (CIO, Managing Director Level) including thought leadership and business relevance.

Strategy and Goals
Develops the long term 3 year GET Inbound Business Plan in Philippines, in collaboration with cross functional team to align with the customer’s long term growth, innovation plans and transformational business opportunities. Drives the execution of a 12-18 month GET Philippines sales plan to meet agreed milestones and goals.

Focus on Strategic Deals
Identifies and closes regional and local innovation opportunities in the accounts through strong relationships with key stakeholders and executives decision makers to maximize Cisco opportunity

Operational Excellence across GET Business in Philippines
Helps ensure that the territory is operational , efficient and that Cisco continues to deliver on its commitments

Global Customer Representative
Represents the Country view with the Vertical Management teams , ensure information, strategy and operational excellence is consistent locally across each account

Incubating Innovation Plans
Works with the customer to develop an innovation strategy to help save costs, deliver value to their business and gain a competitive advantage.

Skills required
• Track record of selling large and complex Technology solutions
• Self-starter with the ability to build executive relationships, articulate technology and business strategies, create demand and close deals
• Good base knowledge of client business models is essential.
• Knowledge of and a contact network in the target customer, as well as insight into issues and trends affecting the customer and their industry sectors
• Ability to work and collaborate with virtual team from the various lines of business within Cisco Systems including Inside Sales, Systems Engineering, Consultant Systems Engineering, Field and Product Marketing, Product Management and Business Unit
• The ideal candidate possesses strategic technical knowledge, and can succeed as a leader and mentor in a demanding and rewarding sales environment.
• Strong leadership skills in a global teaming environment
• Specific examples of Execution excellence and transformational deals
• Executive “CIO” Experience

Minimum Qualifications

Experience and qualifications
Requires a minimum of 8+ years account management experience dealing with a targeted Large Enterprises or similar companies with a fast-growing, High Technology Company. Direct or virtual management experience would be an added advantage
