Description The Entertainment Group Architecture team is seeking Gateway
Sr. Systems Architect to work alongside our elite engineers to build a
world-class video entertainment system. The
qualified candidate possesses solid skills in the areas of:

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**



+ Experience in architecting softwarefor home network devices and technologies related to the next generationevolution of these devices including virtual CPE technologies

+ Understand various Cloudarchitectures and how those technologies can be leveraged in the context of thehome network

+ Ability to architect solutions thatinterface the home network to the cloud and Big Data systems

+ Architecting implementable solutionsthat interface CPE devices to the Cloud

+ Take part in technical reviewsincluding software requirements specifications creation, review and provideguidance for software architecture, functional and design specification for anIP Residential Gateway stack.(end-to end design/Call flows/Interfacedefinition/sub-component interaction/API implementation/system performanceanalysis and bottleneck identification/implementation tradeoffs)

+ Familiarity with programmingconstructs such as processes, threads, IPC, network protocol implementation ina Linux embedded environment is a must.

+ Technical liaison between AT&Tand 3rd party development team that provides development/porting/integrationservices.

+ Perform system engineering tasksrelated to Router/Gateway



**MinimumQualifications**



+ Bachelorsor Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relatedtechnical field. 5-8 years related technical architect experience. Good understanding of CPE field issues and ability tocreate designs for improving diagnostics and troubleshooting.

+ Good understanding of Datamanagement related to all phases of data collection, manipulation andinterfacing with big data systems. Experience in effectively operating withindiverse and cross-functional groups

+ Provenexperience in the areas of end-to-end design.

+ Understandingof the C programming language in an embedded environment is a plus

+ Experiencein fast paced environment with ability to adapt and change priorities asthe business needs change

+ Knowledgeof software development methodologies and structured approaches to systemdevelopment

+ Leadershipqualities, including meeting facilitation, time management, organizationalskills and ability to influence others

+ Excellentcommunication skills, including ability to tailor communication toaudience to achieve desired results

+ Excellentproblem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills, with stronginterpersonal skills
