FPGA IP Engineer Intern

Job Description

The FPGA IP Engineer Intern will be part of the team developing exciting IP for Intel FPGAs.The areas of IP can include but are not limited to Digital Signal Processing DSP, Wireless Communication Systems, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence, Genomics, Finance, Video Streaming.You will work with a team, learn about the hottest signal processing and cloud applications, and use state of the art FPGA hardware.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

Working Towards or Attained Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering

3 (+) months if experience working with algorithms

Preferred Requirements:

Experience / Interest in Some not all of the Following Areas:

Digital logic design with RTL Verilog or VHDL, including verification.

Experience using MATLAB.

Experience with FPGA architecture.

Experience with software, such as C code.

Interested in Math, such as Matrix multiplication.

Knowledgeable in Forward Error Correction (such as Reed-Solomon, Turbo, LDPC, and Polar Codes).

Familiar with Digital Signal Processing such as filters, FFT, and wireless concepts.

Hardware Debugging and Validation such as function generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

Interest in Cloud Computing.
