Job Description

As part of Intel, we will continue to apply Moore's Law to drive the future of field-programmable gate array FPGA technology. The Programmable Solutions Group PSG has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, PSG is looking for great engineers to join our teams. As a member of the FPGA High Level Design HLD team in a Development and QoR Operations role, you will be focused on improving and optimizing the performance of the HLD engineering organization.

If you are interested in diverse technical challenges, developing critical infrastructure for a large engineering organization, working with great people to define the future direction of a key part of Intel PSG's business and putting your work directly into Intel's customer's hands then this role may be right for you.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • The first key aspect of this role is driving improvements to our infrastructure - which includes methodology, processes and tools - to improve the efficiency of the team.
  • The second key aspect of this role is to support the team's efforts to improve our product's Quality-of-Results QoR through initial analysis of QoR changes in combination with infrastructure to facilitate this work.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and the compensation will be made accordingly.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum  of 3 months experience in:- C/C++- Perl, Python or other scripting languages
  • For Bachelors level you must have unrestricted right to work in Canada without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with web development technologies HTML, CSS, Java script
