What You'll Do

We are seeking an experienced Financial Services professional to join the Latin America team to help develop the FSI practice and support our business and strategy in Brazil.

The Senior Business Development Manager will own and develop the financial services strategy for Brazil.

Who You'll Work With

You will work closely with executives in Brazil biggest customers and Cisco, both in Brazil and beyond, with heavy senior exposure. as well as other Corporate Development professionals, communication and integration teams, and agencies.

You are expected to lead discussions with top executives both inside and outside of the company and make decisions that have a high degree of strategic and financial impact.

Cisco is looking for individuals that possess real deal experience and links to the financial services community in Brazil to develop this industry by interacting with senior executives in different roles and position Cisco's new products, services and solutions with multiple buying programs which include subscription and enterprise agreements.

Critical requirements are (i) domain knowledge and industry expertise in information and communications technology, with knowledge of the financial services industry, (ii) strong communication and analytical skills, (iii) proven leadership capabilities and ability to operate successfully in an unstructured, team oriented environment, (iv) strong knowledge on multiple consumption models.

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and characteristics:

* Minimum of 10-15 years' experience in the Financial Services industry
* Strong leadership and communication skills including strong language capability to work with senior executives in Portuguese and English environments
* Ability to think strategically and align investment opportunities with the Cisco business (familiarity with Cisco's business lines and especially market adjacencies, experience with a strategy consulting firm, particularly with a focus in the IT sector, will be considered favorably)
* Technical background/familiarity and experience with cloud services, datacoms, and the mobile and digital home; the candidate will be expected to navigate through the businesses of target firms in the tech sector
* Strong analytical, financial and teamwork skills to work on complex projects with the biggest financial institutions in Brazil
* A deep network within the relevant tech and financial communities in Brazil
