Job Description

As a Facilities TD (Technology Development) Automation and Controls Technician, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
    • Working with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) hardware and any low voltage peripheral components.
    • Developing and performing programming procedures within our PLC systems and data acquisition software.
    • Maintaining and improving the performance of new control loops and maintenance of associated panels.
    • Commissioning and system integration of new facilities systems.
    • Working with a preventive maintenance program and all associated hardware and software.
    • Supporting and maintaining established system standards and documentation for process control loops and analytical equipment.
    • Availability to respond and support all operational user needs during emergencies and weekends.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. 


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
    • Candidate must possess an Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent degree/military experience. 
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Industrial automation platforms, including Cimplicity, Rockwell Automation Control Logix PLC products, or knowledge of other Facility Management Systems PLC & SCADA.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience with process systems troubleshooting.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience with servers, operating systems, databases, and networking.
    • Applicants must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship. 

Preferred Qualifications: 
    • Knowledgeable in facilities controls systems infrastructure, operations, design, and commissioning.
    • Knowledge of field instrumentation i.e. flow and level transmitters, control valves, etc.
