What You'll Do
We need someone who can help us get and keep the best senior executives in the high tech industry. You will use your exceptional business consulting, collaboration and executive compensation expertise to:
  • Consult with our senior business and HR leaders on compensation topics that affect our senior executives,
  • Create compelling compensation packages to attract and keep top executives,
  • Create short and long-term retention strategies,
  • Consult on appropriate severance packages for senior executives,
  • Optimize the design of our senior executive bonus plan,
  • Lead our global executive market practice including market structures, guidelines and bonus targets,
  • Ensure others consulting on executive compensation topics are strategically aligned, and
  • Participate as a key member on other key projects and initiatives.

When you work with us, you’ll be working with Cisco’s top business and HR leaders. You will also collaborate with our key partners in Finance, Legal, HR, and Corporate Compensation. As an advisor and leader, you will influence others and help create rewards strategies enabling Cisco’s success.

At a minimum, we need someone who has:
  • 8-10 years progressive broad / executive compensation and HR experience.
  • An in-depth knowledge of base, incentive and stock programs and designs.
  • Excellent communications, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Effective written, oral and presentation skills.
  • Experience working effectively with internal clients including key business partners and senior management.
  • Demonstrated expertise creating or leveraging compensation models, management-planning tools, presentations, and managing compensation budgets.
  • Strong project management, organizational and technical skills.
  • Proven ability to adapt and work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. Additional formal education (MBA, MS) and Compensation Certification (CCP) is preferred.
