Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Data Center Group (DCG) team as an Ethernet Base IP Strategic Planner!

As an Ethernet Base IP Strategic Planner, you will be part of Intel's Ethernet Networking Division ND Planning and Marketing team and help drive definition and direction for the base IP Intellectual Property building blocks that will go into future Intel Ethernet controllers.  You will play a central role in ensuring that the right building blocks are available at the right time for inclusion into next-generation Intel Ethernet controllers.   While defining the base IP roadmap, you will ensure Intel Ethernet networking requirements are being met, develop business strategies, own the relationship with internal Intel IP teams, as well as drive external IP supplier relationships to execute your vision.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Lead requirements definition for base IP building blocks of future Intel Ethernet controllers, such as SerDes, Phy, PCI, I/O controllers, and CPUs.

- Develop base IP roadmap by working with other strategic planners, customers, and partners, and be one-step ahead of product planning.

- Champion base IP roadmap execution by working closely with internal and external partners.

- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendation on which to pursue.

- Coordinate strategies with product planners.
