Team description
At Cisco, the Swiss Fast IT Team is focusing on Solutions in the Data Center and Public Cloud. Working with a big lab environment to demonstrate the power of integrated Cisco Solutions forming modern, automated infrastructure and inter-connecting on-premise and public cloud offerings. 

What You'll Do
  • Build and configure modern data center  and Multi-Cloud architectures in our demo environment: Software Defined Network, Compute & Storage/ Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker, API Integration, Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud
  • Manage, maintain and troubleshoot the lab environment
  • Integrate Cisco and 3rd Party technologies to address customer requirements
  • Supporting Proof of Concepts and Customer Demos
  • Prepare and hold workshops and run small learning classes with customer and partners
  • Write Scripts (pref. in Python) to integrate and automate tasks

What you need to be eligible
  • Currently in your penultimate or last year pursuing a bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, MIS, Mathematics, Physics, or other equivalent (an emphasis on software design practices preferred)?
  • Passion for technology, creative thinker and problem solver
  • Strong skills in communication, influencing, organizing, and highly self-motivated
  • Demonstrate leadership, interpersonal skills and team work. You have the ability to work in collaborative environment – all with a positive attitude
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal) and German 
  • EU citizenship
