Work with a team of motivated A-players to
• Engage with customers to create innovative solutions
• Work closely with developers and marketing teams at various stages such as product definition
• Drive/collaborate with other technical leaders/software engineers on system/functional design ,
• Develop challenging portions of software independently and rapidly with a focus on quality in an Agile environment
• Mentor and lead junior developers in both onshore and offshore locations.

Who You'll Work With:

Cisco routing team has moving to the next generation in Optical and Packet networking for various customers around the world. This position is for Cisco Routing team to support various platforms like Fretta, Rosco, NCS4K, NCS6K,etc which builds features and supports customers. We are looking for individuals with strong technical strength and is self-driven and self-initiated, quick learners who can join our fast pace team.

Who You Are:
Required Qualifications
• BE/Btech/Mtech/ME with 5+ years of related experience, or EE/CS with 7+ yrs related experience.
• 4+ years of work experience in SW programming and in-depth experience in SW development on multi-processing and multi-threading OS
•  Proficient in C/C++ programming with Unix and Linux
• Experience in all phases of SW development cycle with some exposure to agile development methodologies
• Experience in SW development in a large and complex system, such as a router/switch
• Excellent problem solving skills with a can do attitude
• Experience with scripting language such as Python.
• Experience with Linux Kernel/application development and testing. Knowledge of Virtualization and Hypervisors highly desirable.
• Experience with high network performance I/O - non-blocking scatter/gather, epoll etc. on Linux systems.
• Experience with kernel network (Layer2/Layer3) driver programming.
• Experience with kernel memory management.
• Experience with dealing Open Source community.
• Experience in identifying and redesigning code to address system scale and performance issues.
