What You'll Do


  • Customer problem resolution: Active participation in customer escalations – RRR, CAP cases. Assist the team in trouble shooting complex network issues
  • Talent development: Mentor and coach engineers to develop into SME and future technical leaders
  • Content development: IC digitization, content creation – videos, articles
  • Drive innovation across TAC processes, tools, 
  • Extensive engagement and building strong relationship with Engineering for on-going product issues, CER, EFT etc.

The team is a good mix of engineers with varying years of experience (from 3 years all the way to 12 years) in Cisco technologies and solutions, and each-and-every-one of them bring great value to the table. Our team has global presence located in 3 US centers, 1 Brussels center and 2 India centers.


Who You Are


  • Strong exposure to Service provider environment on next gen routing
  • Expertise in LAN, WAN, Data center technologies
  • Excellent programming experience in C , TCL , Python , Linux , Cisco IOS
  • Network Operating System experience, preferably IOS or IOS-XE/ IOX-XR
  • Exposure to product life cycle and tools
  • Customer experience: Reproduction and debugging of customer issues, handling of field queries
  • Good communication skills and ability to convince others
  • Ability to work with a cross-functional and geographically diverse team is expected. 
  • Experience in Linux, CPU architectures, virtualization and Linux device drivers would be a plus
  • Solve problems creatively and multi-task in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment. 
  • Experience with standardization such as working in IETF would be a bonus.


Networking Technologies:

• IPv4/v6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, PIM, MANET, Frame relay, ATM, Segment routing
• Ethernet: GE, 802.1q VLANs, 802.1ad (QinQ)
• ACL, QoS/H-QoS
• Security – PKI and IPSec


Cisco Platforms:

- Service Provider : ASR 9K / ASR 901 , CRS

- Enterprise Routing and switching : Cisco ASR1K , Cisco ISR series ,CRS


- Prior experience in a NOC, TAC environment is a must

- CCDE preferable, CCIE is a must

- B.E/B.Tech/ M.Tech 
- 12–15 years , Individual contributor role.
