This position is for an integrated member of the EMEAR Distribution Strategy & Planning Team focused on the Data Center Architecture opportunities through Distribution across EMEAR. What You'll Do

  • Driving sales enablement programs
  • Developing sales initiatives and programs to drive growth through Distribution channels
  • Excellent product management and product marketing skills experience in Cisco Data Center technologies
  • Responsible for accelerating and growing the Data Center portfolio revenues through Distribution partners; identifying and developing cross-architecture business opportunities, initiatives, programs and driving growth activities for DC Architectures within EMEAR in collaboration with the wider EMEAR Distribution Stakeholders in Business Entities, Commercial, Global Distribution Sales and central, regional and local account teams.
  • DC portfolio understanding, positioning, development areas
  • Identifying, recruiting, activating, enabling, growing Distribution Channel 2Tier partners
  • Optimize and integrate portfolio into all existing EMEAR Distribution Promotions and Programs
  • Support Planning and execution of regular product and promotions updates and knowledge transfer to Distribution partners and Cisco internal account teams
  • Pro-actively engage with the Business Units and other partners, driving the EMEAR business requirements with cross-functional teams
  • Support strategic planning, development and execution of the Architectures sales plans
  • Regular Architecture Business Reviews and communications plan
  • Interlock with Stakeholders
  • Have regular open dialogue with local and regional teams and ensure buy-in to activities
  • Facilitate on-going reviews and pro-actively manage product management activities

Strong leadership, excellent communications skills and a strong team ethic are critical for this role. You will be expected to work with Senior Executives and cross-functional teams throughout the Cisco and Distribution Partner Organizations; a deep understanding of the constantly-evolving market, competitors and new market opportunities are critical to success.

Who You'll Work With

Our Team is recognised throughout the Cisco Partner Organisation for leading innovation and success, often exporting standard methodology to other GEO’s. This a highly dynamic team, focused on recruiting, activating, enabling and growing 2 Tier partners through Distribution with a high focus on the Commercial, SMB and Mid Market opportunities.

The Team’s vision, strategy and execution is focused on driving revenue growth and market share through the Distribution channel by increasing the coverage, capacity and capabilities of Cisco’s Distributors and 2-Tier Resellers across EMEAR, creating an environment for incremental investment for market leadership.

The Strategy and Planning Team is responsible for 2 primary areas: Architecture Strategy Go-to-Market plans for Distribution and 2 Tier Channel Business Development led by Architecture and Channel Sales Business Development Leads. The Architecture Team’s goals and initiatives are focused on driving sales aligned and interlocked with the Architecture priorities and stakeholders across the Distribution accounts teams in alignment with Cisco’s priorities.

Who You Are

You have excellent product technology and business insight, commercial sales experience in Distribution or channel operations and are able to provide high business value with excellent presentation and communication skills.

You are capable to fully analyse reports and identify trends and opportunities, good cross-functional skills and the ability to demonstrate leadership and co-operation amongst virtual teams. You are willing to travel in theatre if required.

You have excellent communications skills and the ability/affinity for communicating with Senior Executives within Cisco and with customers/senior internal management in both formal and informal situations. You are a strong people manager and exemplify Cisco's culture in decisions and actions and transcends management to true leadership.

  • Facilitate on-going reviews and pro-actively manage product management activities
  • Excellent Data Center product knowledge and background in technology focused roles inside or outside Cisco
  • Good understanding of Distribution and channel dynamics
