What You'll Do

As Manager of the EMEAR IOT/Digital Transformation Services team, you lead the EMEAR regional practice of architects and engineers delivering Cisco-based solutions in selected vertical markets such as Energy, Manufacturing, Transportation and Public Sector. You and your team have strong, collaborative partnerships with Cisco Sales, Services, and Cisco Partners in the delivery of new technologies.

Who You'll Work With

The IOT/Advanced Services team is located around the globe and works closely with other Cisco teams in the delivery of solutions for Cisco customers in the EMEAR region. The IOT/Digital Transformation Services team is tightly aligned with other Cisco Services teams within Advanced Services including the Advanced Delivery Network (ADN), Global Project Management Office (GPMO), other Advanced Service Practices (e.g., Security, Networking, Collaboration, etc.) and the EMEAR-based Advanced Services teams - enabling a more consistent and relevant customer experience across barriers of time zone, language and local regulations.

You and your team will also work closely with Cisco Sales, Partner teams and other Cisco Specialists in designing and delivering IOT solutions that cross Cisco architectures. As many solutions include new technologies, you will work closely with Cisco Product teams, testing and deploying solutions for early adopter customers.

Who You Are

  • Do you have broad networking technology experience with expertise in IOT use cases for leading IOT sectors (Energy, Transportation, Manufacturing, Public Sector)?
  • You have proven ability to scale new solutions and services from early deployments to repeatable deliveries
  • Leadership experience in a professional services environment
  • Real passion for working within a dynamic and innovative Services organization
  • Demonstrates strong consultative skills in gaining understanding customer business challenges and engaging in joint problem solving
  • You can drive productivity, process rigor in service delivery and business operations throughout the practice
  • Program and process skills/experience that led to successful implementation of complex, cross-functional projects in a large company
  • You have strong communication skills, active listener, ability to synthesize high level information
  • Strong collaboration, influencing and facilitation skills. You have shown the ability to influence and lead outside of organization and across roles and functions
  • Shown success in identifying, attracting, developing, and engaging top talent and in a dynamic organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA in business or technical field
  • Experience working in a technology, professional services or industrial sector organization
  • People management experience or extensive experience on large-scale projects as a project manager
  • Leadership experience in a professional services environment
  • In-depth networking experience and knowledge of Cisco IoT solutions
  • Ability to work across large diverse teams without direct organizational control
  • Experience with direct P&L or budget accountability

Desired Experience

  • Knowledge of third-party solutions and partners for Energy, Transportation, Manufacturing and Public sectors
  • Knowledge and experience with Cisco IoT Core Services (OT Insights, Smart and Connected Communities, Industrial Networking and Collaboration)
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in information security
  • Development or management of IoT-related projects with Cisco technologies
  • Management of global teams, spanning time zones and cultures
  • Knowledge or experience of Industrial Networking technologies (Ethernet, WiFi, LoRa, Cellular, RF-Mesh), Cisco Kinetic Platform and relevant third-party solutions within the IOT Services portfolio
  • Experience work at / with Global Multinationals and or Large scale System Integrators
