Job Description

The WIFI Core division is looking for Embedded firmware developer.

Developing and integrating features for Intel’s WIFI core being introduced to smartphones and are integrated inside the PC, IoT and Automotive segments.

One of the AMAZING groups is - the WiFi group. This group provides the best performing Wi-Fi at a competitive cost structure and allows Intel Wi-Fi to drive market transitions and achieve the #1 market share in PC connectivity solutions. We are consistently driving new levels of performance accompanied by market differentiating features such as Wi-Fi Direct and Wireless Display that are now an integral part of Wi-Fi ecosystem, and is complemented today by other Intel unique features such as WiGig wireless docking.

Responsibilities & Duties

Experience in embedded architecture, external interfaces, product constraints, along with ability to develop architectures/features that meet these constraints while providing new value for the platform. Source code development, review and maintenance (C/C++). Unit and system level test and verification (TCL, System C, Modelsim SE) Experience in low level programming, system architecture, operating systems, device architecture, hardware design. Experience in storage interface standards such as SATA, SAS, PCIe. System level design and modeling manages design environment (make, Perl, GIT, Bugzilla). System integration using 8,16, 32 bit microcontrollers. Algorithm modeling, benchmarking, implementation, and digital signal processing.
